Drop a video to start

Your file stays on this device. Nothing uploads.

How it works

  1. 1

    Add your video

Drop, pick, or paste a file. It stays on your device.

  2. 2

    Set the cuts

Pause the preview where you want a cut and add it, or split into 2–5 equal parts with one tap.

  3. 3

    Download the parts

Each segment is its own file, grab them one by one or all at once.

Why nothing uploads

Other tools send your video to their servers, which costs them money per file, so they add watermarks, cap file sizes, and make you sign up. This tool does the work right here in your browser using your own device. Your file is never uploaded, so there is no wait, no watermark, no size limit, and no account.

Questions

How do I split a long video for WhatsApp or Instagram stories?
Use the equal-parts buttons (say, 4 parts) or place cuts by hand, then download all. Each part is a normal standalone video.
Does splitting lose quality?
Not in fast-copy mode: the parts are bit-for-bit slices of the original, done in seconds. Precise mode re-encodes for frame-exact boundaries.
Why did my cut move slightly?
Fast copy snaps each boundary to the nearest keyframe. If you need the exact frame, switch to Precise.
How do I get all the parts?
Every part has its own download button, and "Download all" saves each in turn, no ZIP to unpack.
Does my video get uploaded?
No. Splitting happens in your browser; your file never leaves your device.
