Why nothing uploads
Other tools send your video to their servers, which costs them money per file, so they add watermarks, cap file sizes, and make you sign up. This tool does the work right here in your browser using your own device. Your file is never uploaded, so there is no wait, no watermark, no size limit, and no account.
Questions
- How do I get the ringtone onto my iPhone?
- Download the M4R, connect your iPhone, and drag the file onto the phone in Finder (macOS) or iTunes (Windows). It appears under Settings → Sounds → Ringtone.
- How do I set it on Android?
- Copy the MP3 to your phone (cable, drive, or chat with yourself), then pick it in Settings → Sound → Phone ringtone.
- Why 40 seconds max?
- iPhones reject ringtones longer than 40 seconds. It's also about as much of a chorus as anyone wants to hear per call.
- Can I make a ringtone from a video?
- Yes, drop the video and its soundtrack is used.
- Does my song get uploaded?
- No. The ringtone is cut in your browser; the file never leaves your device.
